Easy, tiger.

The drawing above was done for me by one of my best friends, Emily Weiss. It’s kind of a long story as to why a tiger has come to symbolise me; a story best told sailing on a boat, eating pancakes and writing sea chanties.

Ten years ago, I wrote an artist’s statement at the behest of my painting instructor. He was someone I admired, maybe still do, but the statement was all b.s. I went on and on about my influences and referenced early Expressionism and I name dropped like crazy.
